How to Apply

New City Arts Scholars must apply online at My School DC, a common application for nearly all D.C. public schools.

New City Arts Scholars

All newly accepted City Arts families must complete all of the required enrollment documentation as follows:

    • My School DC Enrollment Form
    • InfoSnap Online Registration – Parents will receive snap codes via email. Please contact us at email@cityartspcs.org if you need assistance with this process.
    • DC Proof of Residency – By law, proof of DC residency must be submitted in person every year on or after April 1. Click here for a list of acceptable documents to bring.
    • Birth Certificate/IEP or 504 Plan/Copy of last quarter report card (if applicable)
    • 2016-2017 Student Home Language Form – Click here to download form.
    • Health/Immunization and Oral Health Records – Appointment cards from doctor’s office for immunizations will be accepted.

Please note: Preschool students must meet the age requirement of three years old before September 30 and be completely potty trained by the first day of school.

Returning City Arts Scholars

Current City Arts Scholars do not need to re-apply through My School DC.  However, returning scholars must have all required documentation on file to guarantee a seat at City Arts for the school year.  Returning scholars should refer to the checklist below to ensure the re-enrollment process is complete:

School Tours + Information Sessions

Visit the City Arts campus and learn more about enrolling your student at our school! Each Tuesday, City Arts hosts information sessions from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for parents to tour our facilities and speak directly with principals and administration about our school community.
